Where Pain and Beauty Mingle!
Daddy, if you had not lived up to Ninety-eight (98) years, I would have complained of an untimely death, but Glory be to God for a life well spent and a glorious exit. Daddy, thank you for giving me such a long time to prepare for this inevitable and necessary end that was to come when it was supposed to come. Thank you for allowing me to serve and be with you till you passed to be with your maker! I will miss you as your No. 17, I will miss our midnight chats, and I will miss a dance with my father! I will miss visiting places with you and taking you around for leisure! I will miss sleeping by you every night & waking up with you!! I miss preparing your bathing water.
I learnt so much from watching you as I grew up. You are the best part of me, even at death! You were an honest father and always stood for truth! Which made some set of people hate you.
Ine-keme or Juli Juli as you will always call me, I never believed that you would leave that faithful 13th day of February 2023 after living a fulfilled life. Still, I am glad you were able to receive the Holy Eucharist, which is the essential sacrament for the smooth journey before you answered your creator gloriously; I know you are amid Angels and Saints singing joyously!
Daddy, I feel the pain that you are no more with me, your daughter-in-law, my wife has given birth to a second boy after your Ebibarabonaki, and we named him after you. You will forever be in our hearts Daddy.
We will miss you.
Goodnight.

A Rare Gem of the Man I Called Daddy
Though I am sad to see you go, I was privileged to have shared my life with a rare gem of the man I call Daddy. I’m happy to have had the opportunity to call you ‘Daddy’, and I am proud to be your daughter-in-law. If I had to live my life over again, I’d choose you to be my father-in-law again and again.
Your journey of life was an inspiration to me and others whose lives you touched. I learnt so many things from you, which will help me.
I love and honour you, Dad, and thank you for the memories we shared. I will cherish them forever.
Sleep well, Daddy.

TRIBUTE TO MY FATHER – INLAW
Your life on earth was a blessing. You have touched so many lives in your lifetime. You were more than a father-in-law. And I am happy to be a part of your blessed family.
A poet king, a teacher, and an advocate of speaking the truth and standing by it.
A King who loved God and was full of wisdom.
You understood the place of thanksgiving as a Christian, earmarked a day for family thanksgiving, and never failed to thank God on that day.
We love you, but God loves you the most.
May you enjoy your stay in the realm, and may your soul rest in peace, Amen.
Abozi Akasah (Husband to C16)
TRIBUTE TO MY GRANDDADDY
Granddaddy, granddaddy, my dear granddaddy.
Oh! Why did you have to go? I miss you. We all miss you. I remember all the good times we had together as a family. I heard of your passing and couldn’t hold back my tears. I am so pained. I remember how you always loved us, and you gave us gifts:
Guess it’s now all the memories I will cherish forever. I will never forget them.
Rest in peace, my dear granddaddy. I love you.

MY GRAND FATHER
Dear Granddaddy, I hate that you died. I wanted you to live everlasting life here with us. I remember all our time together in Tombia and Abuja, and I am grateful to God. But I wish you were still here, I will be more grateful. Rest in peace as you are in heaven, being an angel of the Lord and not worshipping satan. I love you.

MY GRANDDADDY
I miss my granddaddy. I always play with my granddaddy’s hat and walking stick. I used to feed my granddaddy when he was eating.
But mummy says you are in heaven.
I will see you in heaven, Amen!
