HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS OTOBOTEKERE: A LIFE OF YIELDED OBEDIENCE.
His Royal Highness Otobotekere’s life brought honour and glory to God through his multiple achievements. Through discipline, diligence, hard work, and love for humanity on a foundation of meekness and humility, HRH Otobotekere showcased a life of multiple talents and abilities.
HRH Otobotekere, our loving and caring King, was an outstanding Administrator and Manager in the corporate world, a seasoned poet, and multiple authors, among many other achievements. While celebrating his 97th birthday, he also launched two books. What a feat and an exemplary life of discipline, hard work, and productivity?
Intercessors Fellowship for Bayelsa (IFB) remains grateful to the departed King for making his Estate at Tombia available for one of our residential Retreats. The Lord instructed through prophecy that the said Retreat be hosted by him. It was at that Retreat that the Lord gave IFB the spiritual blueprint for fighting the spiritual battle for Him to enthrone a Bayelsan as President of Nigeria. From his Estate we left for the most crucial field operations that covered from the beginning of Bayelsa State to the Atlantic Ocean. It is instructive that of all the Kings in the land, he was chosen to host us. The Lord who searches the hearts of men saw his heart and used him to His honour.
The departed King was a great host who demonstrated his love for God and obedience to His will. He gave his royal blessing for that crucial project – one of the greatest spiritual assignments IFB has undertaken under God’s mighty presence in our 26 years of existence. The Lord gave spiritual battle strategies and gave IFB grace to follow His approved battle plan and schedule, and He glorified His name from the said project. There was a 21-day prayer and fasting programme for the Lord to affirm His choice for the President of Nigeria. The rest is history as God had His way giving us a Nigerian President of Bayelsa State origin as He had purposed.
IFB will always remember HRH Otobotekere who believed in the Lord’s project given to IFB. He gave us his royal blessings hosted our residential Retreat showed us great love and care in the carrying out of our God-ordained project on the political platform.
May the soul of our departed Royal Father rest in perfect peace.
